Santa Cruz is a 1991 16.3-hand grey Oldenburg stallion who is approved by the German Oldenburg Verband, the ISR-Oldenburg, N.A. and the American Warmblood Registry. Despite an injury, he finished in third place in his 100-day stallion test in 1994 and was the only stallion that year awarded a “9” for temperament. Santa Cruz is by the stallion San Diego, an important member of the famous Sandro line of elite performance horses in dressage and jumping. On the dam side, he also carries the blood of the famous foundation stallion Gotthard whose contribution to many outstanding jumper lines is legendary. Santa Cruz has not only produced successful dressage competitors, but also delivers a significant capacity for jumping.
