Lynda Dee is a 1995, 16.2-hand Thoroughbred mare by Proud Capital. During a lengthy race career she won nearly $100,000 as a sprinter, a testament both to her athleticism and her durability. Lynda Dee was awarded premium mare status at our 2007 ISR Oldenburg inspection. Lynda Dee’s bloodlines include the important Thoroughbred sire Djebel, who is the grandsire of the international event horse JJ Babu who won a gold medal in eventing at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics under the saddle of Bruce Davidson. Lynda Dee’s pedigree is also influenced by the blood of Sir Galahad, a well known sire of international show jumpers. Finally, she descends from Hyperion, whose influence in the show jumping world has been huge in the U.S. Hyperion’s son Kahaled sired the legendary Derby winner Swaps, who includes among his progeny Anne Kursinksi’s Olympic horse Eros.
