Galezey is a 1992 16.3-hand bay Thoroughbred mare approved by the ISR-Oldenburg, N.A. for the main mare book. She is the daughter of the Canadian Thoroughbred sire Dancing Count who, in turn, was sired by Northern Dancer, 1964 champion 3-year-old and winner of both the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes as well as the Florida Derby and the Blue Grass Stakes. Galezey’s dam line descends from Royal Charger, an important producer of international jumping horses as well as successful race horses.
